Inspiration on a Budget in Berlin

I simply adore this Berlin apartment featured on the new IKEA LIVE website.  It's modern and playful without being over the top. I tend to shy away from IKEA, mostly because the closest store is two hour drive away. But this little apartment gives me renewed faith for my IKEA Saarinen inspired table that I picked up years ago and have yet to repurpose in my new home. The pics of their circular dining area might have some influence there.

Cynthia Vincent and Eugenia Kim are Coming to Target

Mark your calendars! Cynthia Vincent and Eugenia Kim are releasing a line for Target on April 18th. Cynthia Vincent will be featuring her latest round of "it" shoes, while the Eugenia Kim line will highlight her beloved hat collection. Here is a sneak preview of the line compliments of The Recessionista. I'm very curious to see the quality of the materials used on the shoes, but I have high hopes for those hats. Just in time to block out those summer rays.

Très Chic

In a parallel universe I live in this Parisian apartment photographed for Elle Decor (by way of apartment therapy).  Its a fantastic blend of modern and classic, with a heavy dose of eclectic flair.  It feels lived-in yet impeccably designed.

Hmmm, I think I will be testing a light grey paint color on my living room walls this weekend. Now if I can just figure out a way to sneak in those pops of lilac.

Farm Fresh

I'm loving this stoneware egg crate from Anthropologie.  The time of egg dyeing is upon us and I can think of no better way to display those edible little works of art.  My local farmer's market is about to start too - what a great way to store those farm fresh eggs.

Walking Down Abbey Road

Say hello to the Abbey Road cuff. Yes, I will be ordering this lovely silver bracelet today. It makes me oh so excited about spring and summer on the horizon and that I will be able to show bare arms again. Oh yes, did I mention it's only eighteen dollars from the lovely folks over at Free People? I thought you might like that.
